Psalm 139:16 NIV Vera’s days began May 12, 1928, as the daughter of Albert and Margaret Kats in Prairie View, Kansas. Her days ended in Arvada, Colorado as she entered heaven because of the grace of Jesus Christ. Vera’s life was a testimony of loving service to God, her husband and family. She was a woman of noble character. Vera is survived by Joe, her husband of sixty-three years. Her children, Debra and Jim Mellema of Edina, Minnesota; Linda and Gary Euser of Golden, Colorado; Kurt and Anastasia of Santa Barbara, California; Lisa and Craig Finkel of Grand Rapids, Michigan; Rita and Jim Ledbetter of Cottonwood, Arizona; 20 Grandchildren, 16 Great-Grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Dolores and Bill Watkins of Scottsdale, Arizona; and a brother and sister-in-law, Gail and Doris Kats of Englewood, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Allen Kats. We grieve, but not as those who have no hope because we know that she is in the presence of the Lord.
