Thomas Gene Shellhorn March 12, 1959 - June 24, 2019 The world has lost a great man, husband, uncle, and brother. After 6 months of struggling with ALS, Tom is finally free. Tom was a kid at heart, finding the joy in everyday and good at everything he tried. After working at CoorsTek for 30 years Tom was able to retire and spend 4 amazing years camping, golfing and relaxing. He loved being outdoors with his wife and dogs and spending time with his nieces and their children brought him the greatest joy. Tom made those around him feel loved everyday and that love will never be forgotten. Although we are heartbroken to say goodbye, we could not be more thankful for the time we had together. Tom's memory will live on with his wife, nieces, great niece and nephews, sister brothers and friends. As long as we live you will be loved. A celebration of life will be held at Indian Tree Golf Course on Friday July 12th from 1-4. There will be a small service and time for family and friends to share their favorite memories of Tom. This will be an informal celebration and the family request that you do not ware black. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation the the ALS Association Rocky Mountain Chapter in Tom's name.
