Terry Evon Sietmann, 72, died on Saturday, October 28, 2017 in Wheat Ridge, CO. He was born on September 30, 1945 in Elmhurst, IL to Jeanice and Herbert Sietmann. He served in the Fourth United States Army, then received a bachelor’s degree from Southern Illinois University, where he met his wife Janet, and a master’s degree from Illinois Institute of Technology. He was an industrial engineer for companies in Illinois and Minnesota. Terry and Janet raised their daughters Renee and Caroline and son Kevin in Minnesota, and retired to Broomfield, CO. He was an avid woodworker, brewer, runner, golfer and traveler, and spent a lot of time with his 3 grandchildren, Esme, Zeke, and Amelia. He is survived by his wife, 3 children; 3 grandchildren; daughter-in-law Siglen; son-in-law Dustin; and brother Rick and sister-in-law Ellen and their children Ron, Todd, and Jeaneen. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, November 2nd at Immaculate Conception Church, 715 Cabrini Drive, Lafayette, CO 80026.
