Ruth M. Davis, a longtime resident of Loveland, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, in Denver on October 10. A remarkable person of kindness and empathy, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Loveland businessman Pat Davis and her three daughters, Deborah Hartman, Barbara Davis and Loretta Davis. She is survived by her son, Steve, of Santa Fe, NM and his wife Marta; her brother Darrell Annen (Janice) of Hemingford, NE; her son-in-law Ricks Hartman of Greeley, former daughter in law Courtney Davis of Santa Fe and four grandchildren, Brandon Hartman of Windsor, Cullen Davis of Las Gatos, CA; Scott Davis (Katie) of Grass Valley, CA and Rob Davis (Meghan) of Watsonville, CA. Ruth was born in Hemingford on July 16, 1923 to John and Gertie Annen. She raised her children in Greeley and Loveland, where she was a loyal 27 year volunteer to the McKee Medical Center, president of the Aspen Leaf Condominium Association, teacher’s aide for the Loveland School District; and a devoted member of St. John’s Catholic Church. A celebration of her life will be held at The Gardens of St. Elizabeth in Denver on October 13 at 11:00am, with Christian burial in the family plot at Sunset Gardens in Greeley at 3:00pm.
