Paul Dawaine Garcia

December 20, 1965 — August 4, 2025

Paul Dawaine Garcia, born December 20, 1965, in Artesia, California, to loving parents Robert and Inez Garcia, lived 59 full and meaningful years.

To those who knew him, Paul was many things; a devoted son, a caring brother, a proud father and grandfather, a cherished uncle, loving partner, and a best friend. His presence touched countless lives in quiet, lasting ways.

Paul had a passion for NASCAR, a talent for woodworking, and a lifelong love for turning wrenches. He’ll always be remembered as a kind, selfless soul — the first to show up when help was needed, never asking for anything in return. He was most himself under the open sky, shirt off, wrench in hand, smile wide, and grease on his hands — fully in his element, fixing cars and savoring every moment. Paul lived life wide open, chasing freedom on two wheels and finding joy in the rumble of engines and the raw honesty of punk rock. He didn’t just walk his own path — he carved it out, full throttle, leaving behind a trail of stories, laughter, and love that will echo for generations.

After a long and selfless battle, Paul’s body found rest on August 4th, 2025 but his spirit still rides on, echoing in the roar of engines, the laughter of loved ones, and the items he built with his hands, the restored engines, the wooden pieces worn smooth by time and touch. Each carries a part of him, a memory sealed in craftsmanship, reminding us that though he is gone, his presence lives on in everything he shaped and everyone he loved.
