Patricia Laurene Mlak, 78, devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend passed away peacefully in her favorite chair Wednesday, July 18th with family by her side. She was born to Lawrence and Florence Riley on June 18, 1940, in Denver, Colorado. Two years later her only sibling, Raymond H. Riley, completed her family. She graduated from South High School in 1958 and still had friends from school!! She met the love of her life, Roman Mlak, when she was a teenager and they married when she was 19 years old on August 15th, 1959. During their 27 year marriage, Pat and Roman had three daughters. They enjoyed the beauty of Colorado, camping and fishing, and also traveled the US with family and close friends. She worked many jobs cashiering, customer service, and also mastered electronic assembly before retiring. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roman. She was survived by her brother, Ray (Vikki) Riley, her daughters, Susan (Mark) Laursen, Laurie Mlak and Cathy Aragon. She had five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many, many lifelong friends. Pat will be greatly missed by all who knew her. We will be celebrating her life on Sunday, July 29th at 10:00am at Park Regency of Thornton, 12610 Hudson Street, Thornton, CO 80241.
