April 14, 1960 ~ July 14, 2015 Age 55, passed away unexpectedly July 14, 2015 in Boulder, Colorado. He was born April 14, 1960 in Muncie, Indiana to Ted R. and Patricia E. High. Mike grew up in Haslett, MI and graduated from Haslett High School in 1978. He lived most of his adult life in Boulder, Colorado. He worked at the Red Lion Restaurant in Boulder for many years. Mike loved the mountains of Colorado as well as the Great Lakes in his native Michigan. He loved animals, especially his two dogs, Traverse and Nasia, who predeceased him. Mike leaves behind his two sisters, Karen Patterson (Jon) and Jan Durkee (Dan), step-mom Barbara High, and nephews, Jason Schiffer (Rebecca), Ian Durkee, and Ryan Durkee.  He also leaves behind many good friends from Colorado.
