January 24, 1933 ~ February 3, 2016 Mary Jewell Burdick 83, of Brighton, CO passed away at home February 3, 2016. Mary was born January 24, 1933 in Denver, CO to Roscoe John and Zetta Holt. She is preceded by both parents, her husband Edwin E. Burdick and daughter Elois Burdick. Survived by her daughter Vicky Lange and son-in-law Paul Lange also of Brighton; 3 grandchildren, Shannon Hall, Megan Lange and Nicholas Thayer; Grandson-in-law Rafael Hall, Granddaughter-in-law Amanda Thayer: 4 great grandchildren, Amelie Thayer, Mackenzie Palmer, Morgan Cooley-Hall and Adrianna Renee Carter; Mary loved with all her heart. She loved her son, grandson, and granddaughter in-law as her own. And in return they loved her. Everyone who met her fell in love with her. All the nurses wanted to take her home. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Private Graveside service 2:00PM, Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at Crown Hill Cemetery. Memorial service 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 13, 2016 at the Denver Friends Church 4575 Eliot Street Denver, CO 80211. A small lunch will be served at the church directly after the service.
