87, of Arvada, CO passed away August 24, 2017. She was born in Seward, NE to Benno and Esther Volzke . Lavona is survived by her loving husband Wilborn Whitehead; son Bryan (Vicki) Whitehead; daughters Sharon (Jon) Sorensen and Janine (Steve) Rubin; grandchildren Bradley, Caleb, Elisabeth, Philip, Hanan, Benjamin and Rosie; many more family members and friends who will miss her dearly. Service: 10:00 AM Saturday, August 26, 2017 at King of Glory Lutheran Church 10001 W/ 58th. Ave. Arvada, CO 80002 Memorial may be sent to King of Glory Lutheran Church
