Kenny Albert Godina, a beloved son, brother, husband, and friend, passed away on June 15, 2025, in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Born on April 8, 1960, in Denver, Colorado, Kenny's spirit was as vibrant as the city he called home.

Kenny's career as a printer for Rocky Mountain News brought him joy and satisfaction, and his time spent in the sales of International Paper allowed him to connect with diverse cultures. He wore many hats, including that of a cheerful "Lunch Man" at Wilmore-Davis Elementary School, where his warmth and kindness left a lasting impression on both students and staff.

An adventurous soul with a zest for life, Kenny crafted countless memories during his travels around the world with his beautiful and loving wife, Laurie McNulty. Together, they visited over 70 countries, blending seamlessly with the locals wherever they went. Kenny's passion for photography gloriously captured the beauty of nature, allowing his friends and family to see the world through his eyes. He delighted in spending time outdoors, whether caring for his yard, enjoying his fountains, or simply relishing moments of relaxation on his deck.

Known for his giving and caring nature, Kenny had an uncanny ability to find the best in everyone he met. He never encountered a stranger; his personable demeanor and good sense of humor could brighten any room. Quick to lend a hand to neighbors and always volunteering at community events, Kenny embodied kindness in every aspect of his life. His strong faith in the Lord guided him, providing comfort and strength throughout his journey.

Kenny's life, rich with friendships and family, was further defined by his love for his family and the joy he derived from taking care of them without complaint. He cherished the time spent with his brother, Gary Godina (Maria), his uncle Gabe (Lola), and many cousins, who remember him fondly for his contagious laughter and loving spirit.

Kenny is now reunited with his beloved parents, Ernest and Dorothy Godina, who undoubtedly welcomed him with open arms. While the world feels a little dimmer without him, the light he brought into the lives of so many remains. His adventurous spirit and unwavering kindness will forever inspire those who had the honor of knowing him.
