Kenneth “Ken” Schroeder, 70, went to heaven on July 20, 2015.  He was born to the late Norman and Gladys Schroeder on May 2, 1945 in Yonkers, NY. Ken grew up in Thornwood, NY and graduated from Valhalla High School in 1963, received a BS in chemistry from John Brown University in 1967, and attended Rutgers University graduate school in 1968. Ken married Janet in August 1967.  They lived in Trenton, NJ before moving to Colorado 40 years ago. Ken had a career in analytical chemistry and retired in November 2006. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Schroeder. Ken is survived by his wife, Janet Schroeder, sister Lydia Parker, brother Andrew Schroeder, nieces Janene McChesney and Lauren Schroeder, and nephews Paul and Joseph Schroeder.
