April 20, 1960 - May 26, 2014 Karen Louise (Sullivan) Mauro, 54 of Lakewood, Colorado passed away May 26, 2014. Karen was born on April 20, 1960 at Ramey Air Force Base, in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico to Daniel and Norma Sullivan. She will be deeply missed by all her family and people whose lives she touched with her love of humanity. We have been guided in life and death by her considerable wit. She is preceded in death by her father Daniel Sullivan, step-father Byron Franklin and mother Norma Sullivan Franklin. She is survived by her children, Amber (Dominic), Ami (Angelo) and Danny and granddaughters Destiny, Naomi and Emily; step-grand children Trisa, Angelo, Jr., and Dominic, Jr., and step-great granddaughter Kennedy. She is also survived by three sisters and one brother, Dianne (Greg), Laurie, Michael (Angie), and Kelly (Rick) and numerous special aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. A memorial service was held for her on Monday, June 2, 2014 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church at 10am.
