Joseph John
Brennan
November 26, 1934 – July 13, 2024
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joseph John Brennan, age 89, who was known to his loved ones as J.J. Brennan. J.J. was a dedicated employee in management with Boeing, but his true passion in life was preaching the Gospel.
Throughout his life, J.J. touched the hearts of many with his inspiring sermons and his unwavering faith. He was a pillar of strength and wisdom in his community, always willing to lend a listening ear and offer words of comfort to those in need.
In addition to his work in the church, J.J. enjoyed spending time on the golf course, where he excelled as a star athlete in his younger years football, baseball and track. He was also an avid fisherman and a lover of country music, with a particular fondness for the songs of John Denver.
One of J.J.'s greatest qualities was his ability to connect with people from all walks of life. He never knew a stranger and had a great sense of humor that could brighten even the darkest of days.
J.J. is survived by his Wife of 68 ½ years, Lila, his daughters, Debbie (Mark) Talvitie and Denise (Pete) Barragree, grandchildren Bradley Riffel (deceased), Joe (Emily) Riffel, Matthew (Bernice) Talvitie, Gerrit (Elizabeth) Talvitie and Jamison Talvitie as well as great-grandchildren, Charlotte Riffel, Hattie May Riffel, Nola Riffel and John Mark Talvitie.
J.J. will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of faith, kindness, and joy will live on in the hearts of those he touched. May he rest in peace knowing that he made a lasting impact on the world around him.
