Jay Brian Smith of Park County passed peacefully surrounded by family, on Sunday, March 5, 2017. While he is survived by nephews Chris and Jason Briggs, brother Phil Smith, sister M'Lissa Smith, and niece Allison Foster, all of the Denver metro area, Jay is now joyfully reunited with his love, his wife, Jacque. Jay's undeniable sense of humor and ornery streak, great laugh, deep calm voice, passion for mountains, climbing and 4 wheeling, insightful communication, and generous ways, will be profoundly and forever missed. Jay loved life and the people in his.  He was quick to forgive and quick to appreciate.
