Janet L. Buckner, passed away on October 1st, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her significant other Ron Johnson, nieces Dacia Dyer, Stephanie Luck, and nephew Tristan Dyer. Preceded in death by her parents, Jerome Buckner, Bertha Buckner, sister Janine Dyer and Brother Loren Buckner. Janet worked at King Soopers for 24 years, and loved her job. She considered her co-workers her family, and adored her customers. She often had funny stories to tell about her work days. Janet grew up in Olde Town Arvada and had great adventures with her dad, mom and brother and sister. She always had a love for dogs and would always want to help any animal in need of a home. She was independent, quick witted, spirited and full of sass. Most importantly, she was tremendously loved and will be incredibly missed. Funeral services will be at Lutheran Medical Center chapel, 8300 W. 38th Avenue, Wheat Ridge CO. 80033, on Thursday, October 21st at 10:00 am. Reception to follow.
