Jack VanderHeyden of Arvada, CO, age 72, died of natural causes in late April, 2024. Lisa, his wife of 42 years and Justin, his son, joined by their family, grieve his loss - while sending him love and peace in his eternal freedom.

Jack faced more than his share of challenges in life, but nothing made his heart any smaller. He felt deeply for others and remained kind, generous, curious and passionate.

We will especially remember his goofy spirit, his love of his family, his passion for music, and his caring for all animals. He was so deeply loved and we will miss him (as will Hawkley Jr. and his squirrels - his wildlife buddies).

The family will privately announce a celebration of life planned for early July.
