October 7, 1921 - June 27, 2013 Helen Jane Gerlach of Wheat Ridge, Colorado passed away June 27, 2013. She was 91 years old. Helen was born on October 7, 1921 in Denver, Colorado to Nels Peterson and Elsie Owens. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Alex Gerlach and only son; Bruce Gerlach. Survived by her granddaughter; Audra, nephew; Eric Shuberg, and dear friend; Susan Perkerewicz. Helen will be deeply missed by all her family and friends. Helen loved her champagne, soap operas, Dancing with the Stars and talking with her sister brother-in-law; Amelia and Fritz. A Memorial Service will be held Friday July 12, 2013, 10:00am at Crossroads Church of Denver (9901 W. 50th Avenue). Arrangements made by Malesich and Shirey Funeral Home.
