Halie Nicole Prestien, age 35, passed away on September 18, 2026, at Collier Hospice Center in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. Halie was born on December 6, 1990, at St. Joseph's hospital in Denver, Colorado to Tracy and Sue Prestien. She graduated from Green Mountain High School in Lakewood, Colorado, where she was a lifelong resident. After high school, she attended Red Rocks Community College. Halie was baptized and confirmed at Holy Sheperd Lutheran Church. 

Throughout the years Halie worked at Service King Collision Center, Armstrong Steel, Agility Recovery, and Elevation Motors. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, painting, creating, and completing puzzles. She was a lover of all animals and the color pink! Halie's beloved dog, Myloh, was her loyal companion. Halie will be remembered for her inner strength, compassion, and sense of humor. 

Halie is survived by Tracy and Sue Prestien (parents), Nick Prestien (brother), Becka Prestien (sister-in-law), Marge Prestien (Grandma), and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She is preceded in death by her grandparents Raymond and Marlyn Meyer, and Vernon Prestien. A private family gathering to honor Halie will be held at a later date.
