Gunija B. Angermann, age 94, passed away peacefully at her home on February 7, 2023, to be with her Lord Jesus Christ. Gunija was a loving daughter, devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was married to her husband William for 66 years before he passed away.

Gunija was born in Latvia, the middle of the three Baltic area states. She was a World War II survivor, who immigrated to the United States in the late 1940s. She was a proud Latvian, and an even prouder naturalized American citizen. She was grateful for the opportunity to call the United States of America her home.

Gunija had many occupations over her lifetime. The most significant of which were a model, game show hostess, retail saleswoman, and proud homemaker. Gunija was a very special person who made those people around her feel liked, comfortable, and important. Those who were fortunate enough to have spent some time with her always had good things to say about her and her pleasant demeanor, empathy, and understanding.

Gunija is survived by her son William, and her grandson Bill, and her cousins Robert and Valdis. She was proud of her small family, and worked throughout her life to make her family comfortable, happy, and well balanced. Our small family was very blessed by God to have Gunija on earth for the many years of her life.

Gunija, may God bless you, and receive you into His Kingdom. He knows you have certainly lived a life full of purpose, empathy and service to others. Rest in peace.
