October 20, 1941 - October 29, 2012 Feliciana V. Maniego of Denver passed away October 29, 2012 at Collier Hospice in Wheat Ridge, she was 71 years old. She was born October 20, 1941 to the late Ramon and Gliceria B. Virrey in Lipa City, Philippines. In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Simplicio “Sim” Maniego. She is survived by her daughter, Monet Maniego Karns; grandchildren, Coyer Maniego Karns and Zosia Soleil Karns; sisters Oping Alcedo, Sita Torres, Maria Pepple, and Cora Carpio; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also mourn her passing. Services will be held Friday at 10:30 from Spirit of Christ Catholic Church Community Chapel; Deacon Don St. Louis will officiate. Mrs. Maniego will lie in state one hour prior the service at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Malesich and Shirey Funeral Home Colorado Crematory.
