Mr. Eugene E. Sellers, 69, of Arvada, Colorado passed away on January 23rd from natural causes after battling the after effects of a brain aneurysm suffered 12 years ago. Eugene was born in Robeson County, North Carolina and after serving in both the US Merchant Marines and US Army met and married Cheryl J. Haun of Corydon, Indiana and finally settled in Arvada, Colorado. Eugene is survived by his aforementioned wife Cheryl, his sister Anne Truffini (Michael) of Middletown, New Jersey, his sons Brandon Sellers (Colleen) of Denver, Colorado and Shaun Sellers (Linh) of Arvada, Colorado. The family would like to extend their utmost gratitude to all of the people that have helped them over the past 12 years in caring for Eugene. A memorial service will be held on January 29, 2016 - 2:00 PM at Arvada Covenant Church located at 5555 Ward Road, Arvada, Colorado. The family suggests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the Colorado Horse Rescue or the Paralyzed Veterans of Colorado. There will come a time when you believe everything is finished.
