February 7, 1922 - April 30, 2013 Ester Rehorek was born on Feb 7, 1922 in Czechoslovakia. She passed away on April 30, 2013, at age 91. She is survived by her daughter Ruth Foitik, two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She came to the U.S. in 1968 with only a purse over her shoulder to join her daughter and her family. At 46, she essentially started a new life here in the U.S., learned English and worked hard. Ester's friend Kathy has been the dearest, most committed friend anyone could ever wish for. Ester admired trees...the colors, the shapes, and the blossoming of life every spring. She will be dearly missed.
