Edwin Oliver Hult Jr. went peacefully to be with his Lord on February 13, 2019 at the age of 86 in Westminster, Colorado. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Hult. Loving father to Laura and Eric and former husband to Margaret. Ed was the adopted son of Edwin Hult, Sr. and Grace Pearson of Chicago, Illinois. He had many passions, including flying and baseball. Ed’s time serving with the Army Air Force and the Confederate Airforce following World War II instilled a life-long passion for the military and government aircraft. Ed provided for his family for 30 years working in sales at Schering Pharmaceuticals. He also owned and operated an engine repair company. When he wasn’t flying his own airplane, he was working on and repairing others. Ed was also a deputy sheriff for Ogle County in Illinois. In 2005 Ed moved to Denver to be near his children. An active member of his church, he was a man with a strong faith and relationship with God. Ed met his wife Liz in Sunday School, and they were married in 2014.
