(Lloyd) Ed Riggans, 86, of Thornton CO, passed away on September 20th, 2021. Ed was born on March 30th, 1935 to Lloyd & Alice Riggans in Washington, Pennsylvania. At 8 years old his family moved to San Diego California. After Ed graduated from Grossmont High School in San Diego, California in 1953, he went into the National Guard for 2 years. After being honorably discharged from the National Guard, he started first job as Truck Driver, he then went on to be an Owner/Operator for W. J. Digby and Papst/Robbins Company. He hauled potatoes for the remainder of his career until his retirement at 75. In 1978, Ed met Jeannette (Hobbs)Hall at W. J Digby Trucking, ED and Jeannette married in December of 1979. Ed had two children from a previous marriage, Lori Arnold and Kelly Adams. Jeannette also had two children from a previous marriage Shane and Craig Hall. In 2000, Ed retired and spent his time watching games shows, sports, and playing cards in his garage, spending time with Jeannette, and their 7 grandkids, and 1 great grandchild. Ed was predeceased by Lloyd and Alice Riggans. He is survived by Jeannette Riggans Wife, Uncle Chuck Stewart, his 4 children Lori & Eugene Arnold of Spring Valley, California. Kelly Adams of Warren, Ohio. Shane & Audra Hall of Brighton, Colorado and their 4 children, and Craig & Renee Hall of Brighton, Colorado and their 3 children.
