Donald (Don) Meador, age 85, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2026. Born on October 23, 1940, Don lived a life defined by hard work, dedication, and deep love for his family.
A man of strong and unwavering faith, Don was a devoted member of Applewood Baptist Church, where his belief and commitment to God were a cornerstone of his life and an inspiration to all who knew him.
Don proudly served his country in the United States Army from July 1966 to January 1975. He completed his training as a Medical Field Service specialist and honorably served his nation, achieving the distinguished rank of First Lieutenant upon his discharge. His service and sacrifice for his country reflected the deep sense of duty and honor that defined his character throughout his life.
Don was also a proud and dedicated employee of Coors Brewing Company, where he gave a remarkable 50 years of service. He began his career on the docks, then transitioned to the keg department before spending most of his career in the power department, which is currently operated by Trigen. His loyalty, dedication, and strong work ethic were a true testament to the man he was.
Don is preceded in death by his beloved father, John Meador; his mother, Sarah Meador; and his brother, Jack Meador.
He is lovingly survived by his devoted wife, Sheri Meador; his son, Scott Stinert and wife Gia, and their son Noah; his daughter, Misti Varga and husband Pierre Varga; his son, Marc Meador, and his children Jordan and William; his sisters, Elizabeth Hult, Mildred Miller, Alice Hamilton, and Beth Landers and her husband Gene Landers.
