Delores J. Asmus, 87, of Thornton, CO, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on December 9, 2016. Preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Asmus. She is survived by her children; daughter Debbie Asmus; daughter Lori Hosmer (Russ); son David Asmus (Katy); grandchildren Kyle Hosmer (Caitlin), Katelyn Leinweber (Toby) and Jillian Hosmer; 3 great grandchildren; sister Karen Olson (Duane); numerous nieces and nephews. Private family service will be held at Fort Logan Nat'l Cemetery. A celebration of Delores' life will be held in the spring of 2017. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
