Deenie Patricia Cervera

Deenie Patricia Cervera, a radiant soul whose laughter and warmth could illuminate even the darkest of rooms, graced the world with her presence from December 11, 1968, until her untimely departure on June 11, 2025. Born in Thornton, Colorado, Deenie embraced life with gusto, becoming a beloved figure in her community—a true social butterfly whose innate ability to connect with others was nothing short of extraordinary.

For over two decades, Deenie served as the retail director at Coors Field, where her infectious spirit and leadership inspired countless colleagues and fans alike. She also made a significant impact as the director of outpatient services for Independence House in Denver, pouring her heart into her work and deeply caring for those in need. The echoes of her laughter will forever resonate within the walls of both these monumental places, testament to the legacy she carved through her selfless dedication.

Deenie's journey through life was marked by joy and adventure. She thrived on road trips, each journey a new chapter filled with exploration across the vast landscapes of this beautiful country. Whether it was a spontaneous day trip to the mountains—Estes Park being a cherished favorite—or a cherished afternoon spent reveling in the electrifying rhythms of '80s rock, including the likes of Motley Crue and ACDC, she made it her mission to embrace every moment. Her outgoing and extroverted nature drew friends as if by magic; one could hardly venture five feet in her presence without encountering a familiar face.

With a quick wit that could spark laughter in an instant, Deenie had a unique talent for lightening the burdens of those around her. She was ornery yet supportive, embodying empathy and understanding in a world often too quick to judge. To know her was to know safety, as she enveloped those in her orbit with a generous spirit, offering both kindness and unwavering support to all.

Among her proudest accomplishments were the two grandchildren who appropriately brightened her life, calling her Grandma with love. Her commitment to family was paramount, illustrating just how deeply rooted her affections were, and how tirelessly she worked to create memories that would last across generations.

She is survived by her parents, Pat and Dick Cervera, Daughter Sarina Dozier, grandchildren Barrett and Lola Califano, Brother David Cervera (Christine), Sister Natlie Roemer (Pat), Brother Chris Cervera as well as countless nieces, nephews, cousins aunts and uncles. She is preceded in death by Grandparents Ambrose and Rosemary Forkenbrock, and Gerald and Lola Cervera as well as her granddaughter, Oaklee Califano.

Deenie's life was celebrated in her passions, from the wild adventures to impromptu gatherings filled with laughter and stories. She was a beacon of light, a friend to everyone, and her memory will remain etched in the hearts of those she touched.

Though she departed after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, there is solace in knowing that Deenie Patricia Cervera leaves behind a legacy woven together with love, laughter, and the indomitable spirit of adventure.
