David "Dave" Newman Matheney Sr. age 66 of Aurora, CO, was born in Ft. Collins, CO and moved to Denver in his teens. He worked many jobs over the years but worked at Acme Distribution for 30+ years. He was an avid Broncos, Avalanche and Colorado State football fan. He really enjoyed watching and rooting for his teams. He is survived by wife Sheryl of 33 years, children from previous marriage son David Jr. and his wife Laura and son Matt, children from current marriage son Michael and his wife Sarah and daughter Briyanna as well as grandchildren Mason, Magen, Michael Tyler, Kaitlin and Mitchell and step- grandchildren Analisa and Joshua. He was very loved by all he knew and we will all miss him dearly.
