December 13, 1942 - April 12, 2012 Born in New York City in 1942 to parents Roger B. and Patricia Cooper Billings. Moved to Delphos, KS in high school. Moving to the Denver area in the late sixties, and settling in Wheat Ridge in 1990. He was a student of history, especially the Civil War and World War II. An outdoorsman he enjoyed hunting,fishing and shooting sports. He was a private pilot. He had over 250 parachute jumps. He was happiest traveling and exploring in the back country of our great nation. Proceeded in death by his parents nnad infant sister Carol. Survived by his loving wife of 15 years; Dorothy, brother Duane of Salina, KS, sister Ellie of Central Islip, NY, half-brother Roger M. Doherty of Palmyra, VA, five step children, ROberta Mueller (Ed) of Westminster, Jim Cork (Holly) of Fallen, NV, Kyle Wurm (Chandra) of Wheat Ridge, Jason Wurm (Cheryl) of Westminster, and Dan Wurm of Wheat Ridge, fourteen grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. There will be no services at this time.
