Carlos Ruben
Castro
February 12, 1970 – April 6, 2026
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dad, Carlos Ruben Castro Sr. Carlos was born in Madera, California on February 12, 1970 to Juan and Simona Castro. He passed away on April 6, 2026 in Oklahoma City.
He is survived by his children; Joshua Castro, Carlos Castro Jr, Ryan Castro, Jasmine Castro, Carla Castro, Ernie Castro and Raylenn Castro, as well as his grandchildren; Issiah Castro, Isabella Castro, Emily Castro, Makayla Castro, Nakiah Castro, Luca Castro and Uriah Castro. He is also survived by his siblings; Juan Ricardo Garcia, Jaime Garcia, Johnny Castro, Alex Castro, Olga Teran & Esther Grace Von Kriegenbergh.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother Zulema Hernandez and his brother, Noe Garcia.
Carlos grew up in Madera, California where he loved spending time with his family and friends. Carlos loved riding dirt bikes and BMX riding which he was quite good at. Carlos had no fear and was very daring, which was passed on to his boys who are also fearless and daring. Carlos loved hanging out with his friends when he was younger. They would fix up their cars, or should we say “bugs” and go for a ride around town. He was always the life of the party. His favorite football team was the Washington Redskins and he would always wear his Washington jacket and hat everywhere he went.
Carlos became a dad at a young age to 3 handsome boys. He taught all three to ride dirt bikes when they turned five years old. To this day, those boys still love riding dirt bikes and have passed that love onto their own children, teaching them to ride as well. As Carlos got older he had 4 more children, 3 beautiful girls and 1 handsome son. He loved all his kids and loved spending time with them.
Carlos was a well-rounded person. He was known for his kind heart and willingness to lend a helping hand to those in need.
The family would like to express heartfelt gratitude for the love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. You kindness as truly been a blessing.
