Bryan Otis Bevis, 62, of Lakewood, Co. passed away on 4/18/2016. Services will be held at 2:00 PM on 4/25/2016 at Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church in Lakewood, Co. Bryan was born in Wichita, KS. He graduates from Bishop Carol High School & received a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice from Washburn University in Topeka, KS. Bryan was married to Joan Bevis (Raile) for nearly 37 years. Bryan began his career as a law enforcement officer with the Jeffco. Sherriff's Department. He went on to work for the Arapahoe County DA's office as an Investigator, for over 30 years. Bryan is survived by his wife Joan & their three daughters; Katie Spight (Johnny), Shauna Bevis (Todd Mallow), Samantha Straub (Mitch), two grandchildren; Weston & Resse, his siblings; Greg Bevis, Gavin Bevis, Teresa Bevis, Shawn Bevis, Kathy Schaack, Stu Bevis & Pat Dutcher; & the rest of his family & friends. Bryan is preceded in death by his parents, Clyde & Barbara Bevis & his siblings Eric & Matthew Bevis as well as his in-laws Paul & Barbara Raile. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to American Cancer Society & Collier Hospice.
