November 20, 1949 - July 3, 2016 Brian Patrick Patterson, 66, passed away on Sunday Brian is survived by his son, Michael; his brother Kevin Patterson; and his mother, Gertrude Patterson. Brian was preceded in death by Christine Patterson, his wife of 41 years. Born in Chicago, Brian grew up and lived in the western suburbs of Chicago before permanently relocating to Arvada, CO with Christine and Michael in 2000. Brian was a graduate of East Leyden HS and Triton College. He served in the Army from 1970-72. Brian was hard working and took pride in his work, and always tried to instill that quality in those around him. Viewing will be held on 7/11 5-7pm at Malesich and Shirey Funeral Home, 5701 Independence St. Arvada, CO. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to the Denver Rescue Mission.
