May 15, 1926 ~ June 15, 2015 89, of Arvada CO, passed away on Monday, June 15, 2015.  Art was born in Ashley, North Dakota on May 15, 1929.  He moved to Leola, South Dakota and lived there until he was drafted by the army in 1950.  He was a decorated Army veteran who had severed during the Korean war.  He returned home and married the then former Miss Ruby Mayer.   From Leola they moved to Hosmer, South Dakota and later to Marshfield, Wisconsin.  In 1976 they moved to Denver Colorado until his death.  Art was a member of St. Andrew Lutheran Church, an avid Broncos fan, loved to play pool, and was very close to his grandchildren.  Art is survived by his sister Lorretta Sherman of Ellendale, North Dakota, wife Ruby, son Dale, and two grandchildren Jacob and Madison, all of Denver Colorado, plus numerous nephews and nieces.  He was preceded in death by brothers Edwin, Oscar, and Alvin. Funeral service 10:30 Wednesday, June 24th. at Saint Andrew Lutheran Church 6774 W. 66th. Ave. Arvada, CO.  Interment Fort Logan National Cemetery.
