Arthur E. Opson 82 of Arvada, CO passed away on September 24, 2017. He was born November 25, 1934 to Stephen and Lena Opson. He is survived by his seven children, Stephen Opson, David Opson, Jan Marie Jackson, Douglas Opson, Ann Vaughn, Rebecca Hoffman and Thomas (Samruay) Opson; eight grandchildren, Charlene (Oscar) Chacon, Matthew (Catherine) Opson, Robert Hoffman, Christina (Seth) Spanier, Eric Hoffman, Lily Opson, Gentry Vaughn and Benjamin Opson; three great grandchildren, Oscar Chacon, Aldo Chacon and Dylan Spanier, his sister Rosalie Mehlos and brother Robert Opson. He is preceded in by his father, Stephen Opson and mother, Lena Lang, and his brothers, Alfred and Jerry Opson, and sisters, Lee Barecevic and Shirley Patrick. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 7th at 3:00 p.m. at Morningside Manor, 13251 W. 64th Ave. Arvada, CO 80004.
