October 5, 1931 - July 23, 2012 80, passed away 7/23/12 at Hospice of St. John in Lakewood, Colorado. He is survived by his wife, Judy Peterson, as well as 7 children and 6 grandchildren. He established and led Accelerated Schools where, for 50 years, his life's mission and passion were to make an impact on education and global literacy. A celebration of Carl's life will be held Saturday, August 11, 2012, from 4-6 P.M. at 1st Universalist Church, 4101 E. Hampden Avenue, Denver.
